To the editor:
There are legitimate concerns over the use of smart meters.
Apparently, legally saying nothing signifies permission to install a smart meter.
If thousands of people say “no,” I doubt Fortis will cut off their power. Fortis is too concerned about the bottom line for that.
Are you afraid of your utility company? Do you think there’s something wrong with that? C’mon Kelowna, just say “no.”
