Editor: Bryn Jones hit the nail on the head with his letter (the Times, Nov. 23).
Traffic lights every mile on 16 avenue are not the answer.
It was recommended years ago that they installed roundabout. I’m wondering what happened to that idea?
Bryn also failed to bring up another point: that frustrated commuters will use the backup routes more frequently – 0 Avenue and 24 Avenue.
We are eventually going to have to fix that major east west connector properly.
Let’s start now and try to get the provincial and federal government involved.
