As I drive and cycle around urban and rural Abbotsford, litter and garbage on the side of the roads is a horrible problem.
Garbage is everywhere. There are several problem areas: Downs Road and Town Line, Downs Road and Glenmore, the end of Coral Avenue where I lived.
I am sure there are others, Sumas Mountain being one.
City hall should do more about the problem.
What is the point of planting pretty flowers when there is garbage all over the place. Clean the place up first, then plant flowers.
Also good citizens have a responsibility to clean-up around the area they live in.
These garbage dumpers and litterbugs belong on another planet, living in a garbage dump, or cesspool.
