Thank you to the Mediterranean Market for this very heartwarming story of thoughtfulness and kindness. Thank you also to the letter writer for telling the story.
With so much strife, stigma, greed, lack of respect and selfishness in today’s society, the kindness shown by this wonderful manager is certainly very enlightening. You are truly helping a person in need—a hand up to our disadvantaged within our midst.
Wouldn’t it be great if the large corporations took some lessons here and showed the same compassion and respect towards their staff and especially the customers? Truly putting ‘people before profit.’
There’s more to life than operating a business.
