In common with other area residents, my daughter and I have for many years used local school sports courts for exercise in the summer.
This is now difficult due to uncaring, unthinking, irresponsible dog owners; a plethora of which we seem to have been cursed with in recent years.
The City of Parksville provides fenced, attractive and well-maintained off-leash areas for dogs of all sizes. Please use them and leave sports areas for their intended purpose.
