Dear Editor:
I’ve written to you response to acknowledging Remembrance Day before Christmas. Is it asking too much of businesses to not advertise/decorate for Christmas before, Nov. 11?
Why the rush on Christmas? People know it’s coming.
It’s on the minds of most year round.
Why not do right by our First World War and Second World War vets and current military first?
Show our respect and gratitude for our freedom, by holding off going, over-kill with Christmas until, Nov. 12.
Businesses will not lose money. Don’t think that way.
Think, instead of those who died for our freedom and those, who lived with the horrors of war for the rest of their days.
Thank you.
