Open letter to Black Mountain Irrigation District:
I live in Scotty Creek. Despite the unfortunate outcome between the Scotty Creek community and BMID, many residents would like to say a special thank you for the time that we were able to use your land.
I noticed a lot of backlash and negativity directed towards BMID within the media but very little appreciation was acknowledged.
I am in the process of figuring out how we can continue with a rink in the area for the kids that live out here. We appreciate all your efforts into trying to keep the rink active and realize at the same time your own risks.
Once again thank you for allowing us to make wonderful winter memories.
