To the editor:
On April 24, at about noon, I was walking from my condo on Graham Street to Nesters grocery store, at Bernard and Gordon.
With cane in hand and a green walk light, I proceeded to cross the street. In my haste, I stumbled and fell at the curb, scraping my elbow and bruising my fingers. I has having difficulty getting up, but a gentleman came to my aid, as did a lady driver who stopped her vehicle to help.
The gentleman took me to his car, drove me to my condo complex and took me to my unit. I would like to express my appreciation to both those people.
