On Feb. 4 of this year, a lady I know rented the hall at the Langley seniors centre to have a celebration of life for her husband. I arrived along with a lot of other seniors to honour this person.
We we shocked to find that the parking lot had not been cleared. There were a lot of seniors using walkers and canes to try to get to the hall. The ones with walkers had to be helped to push their walkers and the ones with canes needed support from others in order to make it through the snow.
We all thought that the parking area should have been at least partially cleared. After almost falling myself, I am no longer going to be a member of the Langley seniors centre.
