This is an open letter and Christmas present to seniors and almost-seniors who are alone and out of circulation. To collect this present you have to do as I did.
Get up off your padded chair, turn off your TV and find your local seniors group. Make contact. Go to a game of cards or a coffee or just a chat. Find out what they have to offer. It won’t be expensive and strenuous. However, you may find a new meaning in life, a new friend or just a good time.
You likely have something to contribute and you definitely have much to gain. Like most things that are worthwhile, the choice to act is yours: waste more time or start a new adventure.
