I believe all reasonable people would be in agreement with this. Bullying should never be acceptable for any reason and students should be encouraged to be kind and tolerant toward others, despite any differences in their beliefs and convictions.

Chilliwack school trustee Barry Neufeld has spoken up and raised concerns regarding SOGI.

His voice has clearly been representative of many, many others who likewise have legitimate concerns about SOGI.

This is evident by the hundreds and now up into the thousands of people, who have thrown their support behind Mr. Neufeld.

SOGI needs to go back to the drawing board. There should be reasonable, intelligent and respectful discussions between concerned people (parents) and teachers. “Decisions and resolutions made regarding SOGI should be ones which are acceptable to all.”
