Dear editor,
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the many folks who turned out Saturday in celebration of my 100th birthday. Between the CF-18 flypast, the parade of friends, well-wishers, the convoy of first responders, and the hundreds of cards, flowers, and cookies made for a simply amazing day. I thank each and everyone and I truly feel blessed to live in such a wonderful community.
