LETTER: Stunned and filled with joy

LETTER: Stunned and filled with joy

First off, I must confess, I do not read your paper often, in fact ever. Not because I choose not too, but because we do not receive it and I live just outside of town. But, with that being said, I was reading the Hugs and Slugs column and recognized the events from a paragraph that read, “… to the guy in the Mercedes sedan who I assumed butted in front of me at the car wash, my apologies. I had several terrible things going on that day and I decided to take it out on you. I owe you a pint of Face Plant”.

I was stunned, no, I was actually filled with joy and pure happiness, because I am the driver of that Mercedes sedan. I would just like to say thank you to the driver of the silver Tacoma that I ran into that day, because much like you, I too was having a bad day today, until I read this. Hopefully we bump into each other where there is Face Plant on tap.
