I would like to thank the Good Samaritan who drove me and my wife home after I tripped and fell on my face in St. Patrick Street.
In my confused state I forgot to ask his name. The fall was my fault for being distracted and nothing to do with an uneven sidewalk – in fact I would also like to praise the Oak Bay maintenance for grinding down uneven concrete slabs.
Although now fading, I claim to have the best pair of black eyes in Oak Bay. Thanks again.
