LETTER: Thanks for all the help with snow

Our neighbours on Judith and Hawthorne took it upon themselves to clear the intersection of piles of snow.

We haven’t lived in Mission that long so were pleasantly surprised by how our neighbours helped us with digging out from the recent snowstorms. Thank you to Andrew and Debbie who started shoveling our driveway in December and didn’t stop until after the last fall of snow. To our next door neighbours, whose names I can’t remember, thank you for clearing our driveway and sidewalk of all that ice after the freezing rain.

Thanks also to Mike, our nephew-in-law for digging us out after one of the storms and especially for clearing the back steps. I must also thank the plow drivers who cleared our street and especially the driver of the small plow who made sure he didn’t fill in the driveways when pushing the snow off the road.

Our neighbours on Judith and Hawthorne took it upon themselves to clear the intersection of piles of snow and to level out the roadway after many cars got stuck at the corner.

We also appreciated the many offers to take us shopping or to the doctors or to pick up groceries for us. All of you are awesome and huge thanks from both of us.
