Thanks for pandemic food delivery
Over the course of the pandemic Volunteer Cowichan has offered a grocery shopping service for seniors and others requiring it and unable to easily do it on their own. I have had the opportunity to take advantage of this service for pick-up and delivery to my home (as I grocery shop online). I just want to express my appreciation for this valuable service during the worst of this health scare.
I have now been fully vaccinated and now that local grocery stores are opening up to allow easier shopping¸ I probably won’t require it too often going forward. However, it was great while it lasted and I’m sure would be wonderful going forward for those housebound seniors who need a bit of help in getting groceries into their homes.
