Dear Editor:
Before the present Summerland Council disbands or changes shape, I would like to say thank you.
Thank you for listening to the concerns of the Fish Hatchery re: housing that could threaten water sources.
Thank you for listening to citizens with concerns about a waste treatment facility which again could threaten our water source.
Last but not least, thank you council for recognizing another really important resource….. our young people. Soon they will have a wonderful new skateboard park.
We always say that youngsters are important. This council didn’t just talk the talk; they also walked the walk by topping up the fund raised by citizens who care that kids have enough to do right here in our town.
