Letter: Time for fundraising, not fighting Pathways decision, says chair

Sherry Ure says they need the community to help keep Pathways alive and thriving

Editor:

While I appreciate Helena Konanz’s desire to have Interior Health reconsider the repatriation of the Pathways Addictions Resource Centre contracts — that time has past. We must find a new way forward.

We need everyone with any ability to help to begin looking beyond Interior Health to find ways to raise the funds necessary to help Pathways to survive and thrive. Pathways has an incredible reputation in the community and I know that there is still so much that we have to offer; however, it is not going to happen unless we find the financial support necessary to do so.
