To the Editor,
I hope all who attend and participate in the Thunder in the Valley have a great time. It is time though to get this out of town and back to the Alberni Valley Regional Airport or similar location.
It’s more fun for everyone to be able to tail gate and walk around, allows more vendors, and doesn’t tie up the main road to the city core from North Port. The more rural setting is just the place for a full quarter mile. Get serious: an eighth of a mile? What’s that?
In keeping with Justin Trudeau’s clean air initiative, a move back to the airport would also relocate all the burnt rubber out of the residential urban area to where it can dissipate more freely into the atmosphere, creating its global warming effect almost unnoticed.
Well maybe global warming is a hoax though, and Jesus will fix everything?
