I find the actions of our elected government after the Paris talks to be a huge failure.
With the UN claiming our oceans will be dead around 2045, I do wonder: How do we as humans continue?
What kind of bubble will exist to protect us from the decisions of right now?
I was a mere child in the ‘70s when scientists proclaimed extreme concern for how our planet was going down a path of harm that was due to our existance. Our ‘use and discard’ values were said to be our downfall.
There are insane projects that will cause harm to our future like no other warning out there. LNG is being promoted to be of value when the whole process is nothing but contamination.
I live in a rainforest and I am being warned of acid rain.
Acid rain is fixable, yet we are to be idle when governments have enacted and supported laws that mess with my ability to speak out for real change — change to the devaluing of women in our society. The paternalistic system has made slaves of us all.
