LETTER TO THE EDITOR: One-percenters can help in COVID-19 crisis

Letter writer hopes to reach the hearts of those who are well-off financially

To the editor,

I am writing in hopes of reaching the hearts of those who are well-off financially such as major lottery winners, CEOs and others with huge incomes and recourses to keep enough for your own lives to continue but to think of others in your community to help them with food, rent money and perhaps develop a virus relief fund for those who will be so terribly harmed by the present medical crisis. CEOs could give up their enormous salaries and bonuses to keep their employees and their families intact so as to keep them available and healthy so they will be able to return to work to keep your businesses from going under. After all they are the lifeblood of your income.
