To the editor:
I totally agree with Mary Blumer and her Don’t Locate Major Tourist Info Centre In Park letter to the editor regarding potential changes to City Park. (Capital News, July 25)
What a waste of greenspace.
The plan also has [space] for several tour buses.
Tour buses never turn off their engines. They idle constantly, polluting our air and lake.
There is lots of space nearby on Leon or Lawrence that need some building to beautify them.
It is off the precious greenspace of our City Park, but close enough.
Please do not build on our parkland.
