Save Skaha Park society may have prevented the waterslide in Skaha Park but the fact still remains that our mayor and council have given Trio Marine the keys to the park for the next 39 years.
After all the opposition by the residents it boggles one’s mind why this particular group gets the preferential treatment it has. From bargain basement lease prices to forgiving this year’s rent to sole operator of a concession stand, Trio has everything their way.

Public consultation is a sham because city hall does exactly what they have in mind regardless of the voters. Our children and grandchildren will have to live with their unwanted decisions.
