Letter: Vaccination harms

Dear Editor,

I am writing in response to the letter on vaccination by Jennifer MacQueen. I, myself, have five children with autism. [“Bigger picture missing in debate over vaccination” June 11]The oldest two were medically confirmed injured by vaccines. I, too, have spent much time researching this subject. I believe that you too fail to see the big picture in this debate. The debate is not about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine program. It is about who holds sovereignty over people’s body’s and what can be done to them. Is sovereignty over your body held by you or the state and, if the state then to what limit. Historically many societies would sacrifice their children to their gods for “the greater good”. Today society sacrifices their children to the god of Science for “the greater good”.
