The Kootenay Lake ferry has been touted since the 1960s as the longest free ferry ride in the world. But would it keep the title if the Balfour terminal moved to Queens Bay?

If the Balfour ferry terminal is moved to Queens Bay, would it still be “World’s Longest Free Ferry Ride?” Nine kilometers down to 5.4 in distance is quite a big difference. If it won’t have that title anymore, where would the longest free ferry ride in the world be?
