Letter:Public should have been consulted on 203 Street changes

Editor: I believe the letter by Jeff Miller, (the Times, July 21) was written very well and brings up many good points. I think the writer was very kind with his assessment of the design.

Actually, I believe that 203 Street was better before the upgrades were attempted, and since they have been completed we will now call them downgrades.

I believe that if the public had been consulted on this before it was changed the end result would have been much more usuable.

The bike lanes would not have been level with the sidewalk, the parking stalls would have been longer, the roadway would not have been made so narrow.

What’s with all the lamp poles?

I personally wish they had never touched the road design, all was needed was to have it repaved.
