LETTERS: BC Winter Games leave lasting impression

Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough somehow when looking over what the BC WInter Games volunteers have done.

Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough somehow.

Look at what over 1,800 Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games volunteers did over the past many months to showcase Penticton to the province. President Bill Bidlake and his team of directors ensured your Games focused on the participant, while delivering them with an abundance of Okanagan hospitality. In the few short days since the BC Winter Games, we have received dozens of positive comments from participants and their families as to the remarkable time they all had. Those comments are all directed at your city and your spirit of community. Penticton has shown yet again that it is a community with great pride and confidence, as this version of the BC Games built on the vision of those very first BC Games in 1978.

Well done, and on behalf of the board of directors and staff of the BC Games Society, congratulations Penticton for a job very well done.
