LETTERS: Canada Day success story

Thanks to the many volunteers and staff who made the Canada Day celebrations at the White Rock Museum a success.

Editor:

I would like to thank the many volunteers and staff who made the Canada Day celebrations at the White Rock Museum such a tremendous success. There were so many happy faces of all ages, and great community spirit as we enjoyed the day together.

The museum offered a variety of children’s activities, face painting, Canada Day pinwheels, pins and flags, popcorn, a cake walk, old fashioned root beer floats and complimentary admission to the museum gallery to enjoy the current exhibit.

Many people commented on the extraordinary variety and quality of vendors along the promenade.

Thank you to the City of White Rock for contributing to such a wonderful family experience on the waterfront.
