Editor:
I would be remiss if I did not echo the sentiments expressed by Nev Venables about the care at Peace Arch Hospital.
I, too, was recently admitted with a heart problem and had stents inserted to my heart at Royal Columbian Hospital.
Having returned to Peace Arch I spent nine days in the Intensive Care Unit and if not for the wonderful and loving care I received during those intensive days I may not have survived.
My sincere thanks to all the professional staff that looked after me and gave me my life back. Their caring, patience and empathy to patients knows no bounds.
They are my heroes and once I was back home I realized how fortunate I was to receive their care.
God bless you all and thanks for your wonderful help.
