I recently spent four days in Peace Arch Hospital. Wish that happened before or during our paying tribute to front line workers.
Those folks deserve an award for what I witnessed during the execution of their duties.
I have not seen a more professional group exercising their expertise in the care of their patients and their own welfare.
After my time in hospital there is a follow up program used as more of a welfare check but also some basic assistance in home.
It is a small thing in their day but it means the world to me as I live alone now.
One of the girls seemed anxious while in my home. I asked what the problem was and her concern was her parking. She parked in an area where she could get a ticket that she would have to pay for.
I’m hoping that City Hall can make an arrangement with the hospital administrator to supply a blanket parking pass that will allow parking anywhere in the city without fear of a ticket and help them better discharge their duties as health care professionals.
Failing that I will accept and pay for any and all health care workers parking tickets from PAH in the discharge of their Home Care program.
