LETTERS: Hospital stay a reminder to be grateful for selfless care-givers

I recently came home from 10 days at Peace Arch Hospital. While there, we all observed Remembrance Day and I thought of those who have given their lives to ensure our freedom and safety.

Seeing the hospital staff at work under difficult and dangerous conditions – fighting an enemy we cannot see, has made me most grateful for their skills, commitment and caring.

White Rock-South Surrey is so fortunate to have this hospital and its hard-working, dedicated staff.

I intend to spend a few minutes at 11 a.m. each day, remembering the care I received.

Let’s support the hospital staff (and ourselves) by washing our hands, social distancing, wearing a mask and by being kind and considerate.

A donation to the PAH Foundation is a great idea, too!
