LETTERS: Kindness appreciated

The kindness of strangers is so special, touching and just wonderful.

The kindness of strangers is so special, touching and just wonderful.

I was bringing my sister from Kenora to Winnipeg for a long-awaited medical appointment.

Keeping my drive a little tight as my sister is on oxygen and has a difficult time moving around, we stopped for gas and then found the tire was going flat. I became frantic, but two very helpful men offered to help.

They changed my tire and would accept only thanks. When I asked them where they were biking from, imagine my surprise when they said Williams Lake. I had recently moved from 150 Mile House after living there for many years.

So, thank you very much Clive and Brody Granger. Trust the trails you travel will be good.
