Did Mount Polley’s tailing dam meet current standards?

These examples impacted their watersheds for an unknown time.

Our watersheds must be protected from the shareholder’s quest for profit.

Yes, we need operating mines but it has to be done safely.

To discharge anything other than what was in the creek before mining started is unacceptable, regardless of the ‘flawed’ current standards.
