I’m told that there are a number of empty houses in White Rock and South Surrey.
While the law protects us, especially the propertied classes, surely natural justice demands that these houses, together with Vancouver’s future Trump tower, be expropriated, placed in the hands of social service agencies, and be made available to both the homeless and refugees.
This might also serve to dampen the real-estate market.
