Re: City plans to shut off our water supply: First Nation, Sept. 16.

I was troubled to read the headlines about how the City of White Rock was planning to shut off the water supply to the Semiahmoo First Nation.

I was saddened to read that the Semiahmoo leaders reported that this announcement by the city caused panic. After all, as a White Rock resident, I consider the members of the Semiahmoo First Nation as my neighbours.

So, as a good neighbour, I have a suggestion that would alleviate any future panic among First Nation members.

Why don’t you simply hire a helicopter company to deliver water to your reserve?

I think that weekends, especially Sundays, would be ideal times for helicopter delivery to your homes.
