This note is to say a big ‘thank you’ to the wonderful and caring couple who rescued our eight-year-old chocolate lab dog earlier this month.

She escaped out the door while we were greeting guests and was so scared when the fireworks started, she ran about five miles from home.

They saw her running at full speed and followed her realizing she was in distress. They told us she was clipped by a car and they managed to get her into their car and called us. They delivered her home and she is OK.

We are so thankful that such good people exist in this crazy world, and that they had the realization that our dog was panicked, as they have dogs of their own. My husband and I are truly so thankful for people like you.
