According to the police, at least every time they shoot an unarmed person or Tase an unarmed suspect to death – or a half dozen of them kick the living bejabbers out of docile, lying-on-the-ground suspect or not – cameras can’t be relied upon, as they don’t actually show what really happens.
So much for the old adage, “A picture is worth a 100 words!”
Ergo, why spend a lot of money and manpower installing and monitoring CCTV cameras when they are not to be relied upon, so say the police? Just asking.
