LETTERS: Pulling out all the (bus) stops

On Friday, I was sitting in Boston Pizza on 152 Street in South Surrey.

For some reason, I looked out and saw a TransLink bus go by with nobody on it.

That is not that unusual. Usually those big buses that cost about $90 an hour to operate are very empty.

What was unusual was that in the next 12 minutes, nine buses went by the window with few passengers on each one, and at least two had none.

My question is: what sort of people run a system this poorly? How can we afford this stupid level of service? No wonder the discerning level of public voted last year’s transit referendum down.

I say replace all the people at the top with those who can make this system work far more efficiently.
