It is admirable that the cities of Kelowna and Summerland want to paint there crosswalks with rainbow colours to represent a cause.
Have they considered that crosswalk markers and their colours represent a road sign and are coloured as such. Will we also rainbow colour our stop signs and road hazard signs and hope people know what they mean.
I sure hope nobody mistakes the rainbow colour as art instead of a road sign and accidentally hits a pedestrian.
