What if climate change theory all wrong? We'll have a cleaner world in Maple Ridge

Re: Warning industry cries wolf, again (B.C. Views, May 4).

Tom Fletcher seems to disagree with the majority of climate scientists.

Yes, he could be right as science in that area is not that exact. What if they are right and we do nothing, though?

I don’t think I need to detail the possible results that could come from rising sea levels, changes in crops, increases in pollution. We may not see the catastrophes that some predict, but I would certainly be worried.

What if they are wrong and we do rush off to change things? Well, we’d be stuck with less pollution, a variety of new energy sources.

Yes, our economy would take a hit, but in my mind this is by far the best of the two.
