To the Editor,
The Clark government’s inability to understand our objection to an LNG terminal in the Skeena River estuary and a pipeline in the watershed is only one example of its ignorance.
The Skeena watershed has provided a wide variety of biodiversity for the health of plants and animals, including humans, for at least 4,000 years. An LNG facility can destroy it in less than a decade. The entire fossil fuel industry is not expected to last more than 20 years, and would be dead by now if not propped up by government subsidies.
Clark would do better by listening to the British Columbians who love this country, instead of those who want to exploit it for temporary profit.
