Dear editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Ministry of Transportation for hearing me out when I shared my concern regarding the cement barrier on the curve of Comox Road (Dyke Road). The cement barrier was badly overgrown with blackberry bushes and the like. You could not even see the barrier to indicate a curve in the road. I took it upon myself to bring this concern to the Ministry of Transportation and asked if they would consider looking into this matter and I am pleased that they took my concern seriously and did something about it.
The cement barrier has been cleaned up and reflectors installed. This sure makes for considerably better driving in the evening hours. One can see the curve coming which is extremely beneficial for all concerned.
Thank you for taking my concerns seriously.
