More complaints, but that’s life

Editor, The News:

Re: One person made 100 complaints (The News, June 22).

I was one of the loudest complainers about Maple Ridge’s bylaw enforcement policies concerning RV parking on residential lots.

In lieu of forthcoming recommendations, I now feel it is time to thank municipal staff and council members for listening to the many complaints.

The recommendations haven’t been completed or adopted by council, but municipal hall’s willingness to listen helped take the sting out of it for most of us.

Admittedly, there will still be some people with complaints, but that’s life, isn’t it?

Compromise had to be made because there was no way to satisfy everyone.

The recommendations will be the subject of an open house, June 29 at municipal hall.
