More police presence best way to reform bad drivers

West Shore traffic scenarios need more attention from police

The Gazette has printed more letters from people describing the behaviour of deliberately dangerous drivers.

I hope those individuals vote for more policing by fostering candidates who will support more funding. (Langford voters did re-elect Mr. Young, who has woken up and is pushing for more police, but neighbouring fiefdoms are lagging.)

In the meantime, voters can ask officials what their value priorities are – forcing people to pay for glitz and cutesyness or protecting them.

Every municipality should be doing its part, as the offenders live in various municipalities and can be caught in others as they travel around. Only police in their face repeatedly will reform deliberately dangerous drivers.
