Motive questioned

Resident upset with the direction of the government over education

B.C. teachers did not receive a wage increase in their previous two contracts.

I question the premier’s motive in informing the public that our taxes will increase to offset the increase in wages the teachers will receive in the contract just ratified.

Taxpayers’ dollars have been used in two court cases where the Liberal government has fought class size and composition (awarded in the B.C. Teachers Federation’s favour).

The Liberal government is taking the issue to trial for yet a third time. Is this diligent and responsible use of our hard earned tax dollars?
