Neighbours deserve to share in award

I recently received an award from the Canadian Cancer Society for 25 years of service

I recently received an award from the Canadian Cancer Society for 25 years of service in the form of a certificate and a beautiful gold pin with the daffodil symbol of hope.

Each year I have been canvassing in my neighborhood in support of the work the Canadian Cancer Society does to support ongoing research in the control of cancer. As well, it provides practical and emotional support for the families and victims of this disease.

What I want to say is this award needs to be shared with my wonderful neighbours of Quamichan Park for your generous and willing support of this worthy cause these many years!

Together we’ve contributed over $15,000.
To you I say a heartfelt thank you.
God willing I’ll be knocking on your door next year.
