No chance to take part in Langley City Remembrance Day ceremonies

No place for scooters meant would-be participant had to head home.

Editor: On Nov. 11, I bundled up, got on my scooter (I am disabled) and rode to Douglas Park to attend the ceremonies, arriving at 10:40 a.m. As there was no access for scooters and I was definitely unable to see over others, I said a prayer, and returned home.

With so many elderly and disabled persons, whose only means of mobility is by means of a scooter or wheelchair in Langley, I am extremely disappointed with those responsible that accommodations were not made.
