Regional District of Nanaimo Director Julian Fell is right when he questions the motives of David Suzuki’s Blue Dot Initiative (The NEWS, July 30).
There are a lot of speculations about the motives of Suzuki and his foundation. He says many environmental things I believe he doesn’t understand.
I believe Suzuki has no idea about climate but he says global warming exists and CO2 causes the climate change. Both are not proofed by anyone, but it is without question that climate change exists since the beginning of our earth, five billion years sgo. Global warming is not possible as approximately a quarter of the earth is cooling and three quarters are warming: The Russian Siberian winter 2013/14 was the coldest since weather was reported with more then 100 people dead, but not by global warming.
It is not clear who is behind Suzuki and his foundation and who is paying.
