No hope of survival without their help

No hope of survival without their help To the editor;

To the editor;

In the early-evening hours of Oct. 10, I crashed my Astro van near the town of Little Fort, just north of Kamloops on Highway 5, due to a medical problem that caused me to faint while driving.

I would like to thank the good samaritans who stopped to help me and called for help.

I would have never made it out alive if it wasn’t for their bravery and courage.

I would also like to thank the search-and-rescue team that managed to get me out of the van safely and quickly.

Special thanks to the paramedics who transported me to the hospital in Kamloops.

Upon arrival at Royal Inland Hospital, I was given the best of care by the staff there.

I thank them for that.

I would also like to thank Dr. Rollheiser and his team of doctors and nurses who got me going and on my feet so quickly.

Heartfelt thanks to all of the individuals who helped me.
