To the Editor,
As three people are killed by two bombs in Boston, the BBC reports 340 Iraqis were killed by bombs in that country.
That is 340 people who would not have been killed if the U.S. had not invaded Iraq and left the country in ruins and chaos.
Do we as North Americans really believe that Iraqis shed less tears or their hearts are less broken by their family member’s deaths?
Don’t forget Stephen Harper was once all for the invasion of Iraq. Our politicians say nothing about the disparity.
We need to get a grip on reality and fairness or see our children grow up in a living hell.
If we are not fair, we are wrong. It is as simple as that.
